Retaining is levels, drainage and what sits behind the wall. We set out the line, cut the batter, bore and set posts to depth, then backfill with drainage aggregate and an agi line so water leaves the wall instead of pushing on it. Concrete sleepers, treated pine, block and rock walls on sloping South East Melbourne blocks, from a single garden step to multi-tier boundary retaining.
